We are thrilled to announce that Salisbury Parks and Recreation will host its inaugural Public Safety Summer Academy for High School Students in the summer of 2024! The academy is a collaboration between Salisbury Fire, Salisbury Police, Salisbury Beach Lifeguards, and Cataldo EMS, it will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the first-responder professions.
The Youth Academy is free of charge and a T-shirt will be provided. Students will be required to bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverages Monday through Wednesday, Lunch will be provided on Thursday.Due to limited space, the first preference for attendees will be given to Salisbury residents. However, we highly encourage all students in the Triton District to submit their applications. This is a TWO step process. If an applicant is accepted, he/she will be provided a link and approved for registration.

- Applications close, participants notified by May 15 and directed to register here.
- June 1st:
- Last day for accepted applicants to commit to program & register
