Safety Academy: We’re excited to announce the 2025 Salisbury Public Safety Summer Academy— an exclusive (FREE) opportunity for high school students to experience hands-on training in various first-responder professions. Whether you’re interested in law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, or lifeguarding, this academy is your chance to learn from local experts and gain invaluable skills for the future.
Academy Details:
Dates: July 14th - 17th
Location: Salisbury, MA
Who Can Apply: High school students as of Fall 2025

What to Expect:
This unique, immersive experience is a collaboration between the Salisbury Fire Department, Salisbury Parks & Recreation, Salisbury Police Department, Salisbury Beach Lifeguards, United States Coast Guard, State Police, and EMS.
The Academy is FREE. Attendees will:
  • Participate in hands-on training and real-world simulations
  • Learn vital first responder skills, including CPR, fire safety, emergency medical techniques, and more
  • Explore exciting career paths in public safety
  • Meet professionals in law enforcement, fire safety, ocean rescue, coast guard, and EMS
